To help faciliate a meaningful toastmasters meeting we ask members to please sign up for a role in advance of the monthly meeeting.
On the monthly meeting agendas page you can:
- Sign up for one of the two main speaker roles:
- Speaker #1 or #2 which are 5-7 mins presentations each
- Sign up for a support role:
- Toastmaster - host/MC the meeting and introduce other roles (speaks throughout)
- Word Master - introduce the word of the day (1-2 mins)
- Joke Master - tell a fun joke or story (1-2 mins)
- Table Topics Master - Facilitate impromptu open ended questions (10-20 mins)
- Members/Guests selected to participate speak for 1-2 mins each
- Sign up for a feedback role:
- General Evaluator - introduce/ask each feedback role to present their feedback
- At the end also share overall thoughts on the meeting (2-3 mins)
- Evaluator #1 or #2 - share observations/feedback for Speaker #1 or #2 (2-3 mins)
- Ah Counter/ Grammarian - report on filler words count and use of word of the day
- Timer - report on overall meeting start/end time and share how long each role above spoke.
